ML4 carriage sticking Good morning all. I have a ML4 ive recently picked up.

However, upon setting it up, ive found that halfway up the bed the carriage seems to be very tight, and feels like the hand wheel slips on the geared rail. Is this an adjustment on the geared rail or is it on the carriage assembly? Also chasing any spares for ML4. Thanks |

Could be bed was worn and some one adjusted the carriage too compensate.

So its fine near the chuck where the bed is worn but tightens up where the bed isn`t. Perhaps a good examination of the bed with a straight edge. Ed |
