Myford M Type advice

Hi there, this is my first post on here so please be gentle! I have come into possession of a Myford M type lathe built in 1943. It`s a lovely piece of machinery however I don`t know much about it and wouldn`t even know where to start with working with it. It has loads of extra bits and bobs with it too like chucks and cutting tools etc but needs some tlc as some bits have some surface corrosion on. It`s belt driven from an AC motor which is currently dismantled and the large itself doesn`t have its own dedicated mount. Would anyone have an idea of what these are worth? Your help is much appreciated. Andrew
