Some questions about the Taig lathe

I do not have a lot of space in my workshop and i remove all my tools to my village once a year so a bigger lathe is an imposible dream for me.
Can i have a stronger motor with more torque on the taig lathe? I need some extra torque for my work project(any suggestions?)The swing is 150mm with a raiser block , can i adapt a 150mm chuck? Thank you in advance
