Myford oil? The ML7 Operation Manual (82005) states that backgears, changegears, and leadscrew, etc. should be lubricated with Febis K68. However, the Myford Series 7 Manual by Ian Bradley recommends SAE 30 motor oil.In fact, the chap I bought my lathe from said that he uses motor oil for all parts of the lathe, including those bits that Myford state should be lubricated with Nuto H32.
